Central Presbyterian Church Hamilton

YOUTH FOR MISSION

During the Lenten season, some Christians commit to a form of fasting or they temporarily give up certain types of luxuries. This Lent why not consider giving
to support our Youth for Mission.
The Mark Preece Family House in Hamilton is an independent ‘home away from home’ for families of critical care patients being treated at Hamilton area hospitals. This accessible and affordable accommodation provides hope and healing for families who are far away from their home and experiencing
stressful and uncertain circumstances regarding the health of their hospitalizedloved ones. You can find more information on their website
www.markpreecehouse.ca
As a Lent mission project, the youth at Central will be collecting new, personal items to donate and support the families who are staying at The Mark Preece
House. While you consider what to give up for Lent, please also consider giving to this worthy cause. Thank you for your support.
NEXT SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26, THE YOUTH WILL BE COLLECTING KLEENEX AND TRAVEL-SIZE SOAP BARS

At Central, we encourage youth to be part of the worshiping community on Sunday mornings.
The young people lead in the service with prayers, scripture reading and music.
There is a weekly class most Sundays for Grade 6-8 students, and both Junior and Senior High students enjoy a time of fun, Bible study and worship on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 - 7:30 at Charlton Club.
